A morning at Savyavasa
The living room was designed, floor to ceiling, by Yabu Pushelberg, and the morning light comes in warm because the double-glazed low-e windows keep the heat out. Downstairs, the 1 km jogging trail is already busy, the Hammam spa opens at seven, and if you have a dog, it walks the forest path with you past the Mini City where the neighbours’ children learn to share. No one speaks loudly here. It is not a rule. It is the building.
Who is behind Savyavasa
The developer, PT Jantra Swarna Dipta, is a joint venture of Swire Properties and JSI Group. Swire Properties is a Hong Kong developer active since 1972 (Taikoo Shing, EIGHT STAR STREET, EDEN Singapore), and Savyavasa is its first Jakarta project. JSI Group (Jakarta Setiabudi Internasional) has worked in Indonesia since 1975 and is behind hotels such as Andaz Bali and Grand Hyatt Bali. The design team is SCDA Architects (architecture), Yabu Pushelberg and Richardson Sadeki (interiors) and Intaran Design (landscape).
